I have been travelling around Vietnam for several times to visit some famous places in Hue, Vietnam: the complex of Royal monuments, ancient pagodas, beaches... This time I decided to take a exotic tour to discover another aspect of its beauty by bike: go to the villages around Hue for enjoying the slow motion of life.

There are many travel agents in Hue for your choice when arriving there: An Phu, the Sinh Tourist, Huetourist which provide you various means of transportation for the travelers: motorbikes, bicycles, group tour buses or even private cars for good prices. The Google's sites may give you a huge results of where to go & what to do in Hue city, but I think that the best things to see in Hue is to take a dragon boat going upstream to visit the village named Thuy Bieu – famous for its specialty pomelo. Along the way, you will see Linh Mu pagoda, Kim Long road with many cathedrals located.
When arriving Thuy Bieu, you should try the organic food there such as: Pomelo fruit salad or banana blossom with chicken. Fresh fruits & food, fresh air surrounding and rustic village ambiance of upstream Huong River are the reason why I recommended this place.

Then, it is time to take a tour to the nearby tombs which is few kilometers away from the city. Or if you are tired of riding bikes for the whole day, you can take half day tour or full day tour in Hue with the travel agents either online or offline booking with various available services & vehicles of your choice.
